The Medical Program at Washington Medical Sciences University (WMSU) is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation required to succeed in the medical profession. As students near graduation, they undergo a comprehensive evaluation process to ensure they meet the high standards set by the university and are fully prepared to begin their careers as healthcare professionals.
In their fourth year, students are evaluated by the Student Evaluation and Progress Committee (SEPC) to determine their eligibility for graduation. The committee reviews each student's performance throughout the Basic Science years, their clinical performance during clerkships, and their adherence to professional standards. Additionally, the SEPC verifies the successful completion of all required exams and courses, ensuring that students are well-equipped for their future medical practice.
